New buildings are growing up all around us. The indisputable advantage of the new building is just a "novelty", where it is not necessary reconstruct old buildings prosily and laboriously.

The indisputable advantage of the new building is the using new, advanced materials and technologies in the early stages even adapt the space needs of the company to change the disposal by incorporating wiring and networks and selection of materials. It depends of course whether we want to buy a new building or invest only in the leases. Attention should be given to the quality of the building and other works to not increase investitions by the time.
In case of locality we must not forget to road access and sufficient parking possibility, what oftenly used to be forgotten in the construction of new centers.
It is appropriate to note the location of the new building. If you are located near busy roads, we should not forget the noise study. The advantage of the new building is its new design. Clean, free space has a direct offer to "cast". The big advantage is possibility to change the disposal according to the requirements of the company. The decision to open space or separate offices depends on the type of work and operation of the company. Here would be advantage something what can interfere to someone else. Here should be given sufficient time for space plan of office with regard to company´s focus, function and workforce that will move here. Important is also having sufficient storage space, which would be planed appropriately ahead in the case of new building.
Light, heat and cabling
Large glass facades provide plenty of daylight, but sometimes is too much of the good thing. You have to use lampshades. Conversely, not all of the buildings meets the light technic standard, some workplaces have to turn on lights during the day and it may be a problem for human eye after time. Most of new buildings are equipped with air conditioning providing ventilation, heat and humidity. We do not even need to open the window. But what looks like a big advantage at first glance, could be literally disaster for someone.
New buildings are usually already equipped with technical achievements, which ease us operation in job, fast communication and transfer of information. Cabling of networks in double floor is serving for rational use of space and almost allover conectivity at the same time. Good technical design, construction type, suitable materials are necessary. Computer, neighboring offices, air conditioning, elevators ... when lacks sound insolation, then our working efficiency will decreases and either beautiful view out the window will not be helpfull.
From advantages to disadvantages
Particularly in new buildings we see that in case of high-rise buildings which are economically advantageous objects, but do not forget for safety arrangements in case of accident. New buildings undoubtedly offer many advantages, but they need to be checked in advance, that some shortages don´t make them eventually disadvantages. For me as an architect, the building can become the image of a company that resides in. Building built in custom is distinguishing feature of the company, reference point in space, the place with the famous genius loci. To find a suitable location, enlightened investor and architect ,who meets his idea is a perfect combination. There more than a lot of examples.
