10 tips how to furnish and built company´s office

 1. Scope of the project

If you are furnishing one new office, doing everything yourself is not a problem. But what if you come to the stage that you need to design spaces for whole company and also arrange construction and architectural things? You will meet things, you haven´t heard before or you will have to do things you haven´t even know that they actually exist and are needed.

Often times you will need to ask something and Google is not the best solution. In this case, it is necessary to consider choose a company that covers all these services.The best is to choose a company that offers complete solutions and arrange everything for you.

2. Budget

You have to know it and follow it. In most cases it´s habit to save wherever it´s possible, but if you plan to have representative office that will serve next 10 years, do not hesitate invest to interiors. You will no longer have to meet clients in stylish cafés, save time for transportation and create an impression at the first meeting.

 

3. Technical parameters

How much light do colleagues need ? How many square meters or toiletries should have employees? What should be the distance between chair and wall? ? What are requirements for electrification? When preparing interiors for a larger company, call the architect. He knows all standards and directions and you won´t have to worry that employees will be dissatisfied in an environment that does not meet the basic job requirements.

Important advice: See what architect has experience with officers and see his references. A lot of the necessary information will be learned in practice. The designer is not an architect!

4. Project

If you get in your new-leased space and you don´t plan to change anything, just moving your tables, it´s ok. However, if you need to change electricity, water, AC, walls, you will need new project/design .

Only by this will be possible to make all changes precisely and result will meet your expectations. Our advice: before all changes consult with architect, what will be needed and you will clear vision what will be the changes.

 

5. Furniture

 Good and quality furniture last and look great for years. Today, there are materials and technologies that are not only extremely durable, but they provide health at work. Look around before and get advice before you hit the nearest wholesaler where quality is far from what you get from companies that specialize to office and public spaces furniture.

You don´t have to worry that table edges will be peeling off, your work chair will bestir or get broke. Moreover, furniture will be assembled by professionals for reasonable price. No more manuals, ufff!

 

6. Spaceplan

Spaceplan in a layman's dictionary could be called the layout of the furniture. The professional dictionary it´s disposition space solution. It is also important to know this term as spaceplan plays key role. Did you know that location of furniture affect mental state of employees, changes efficiency, can solve various communication, personal or other work problems?

By using right spaceplan, you will create a space which may causes that talents will leave you company, or you will encounter happy people everyday. Advice: Good spaceplan means good architect.

 

7. Carpets, floors and walls

Spaces will get new dimension when choosing different colors, materials, or graphic will create wall desings. New dynamics of sterile space is guaranteed.

 

8. Visualization

There is nothing incredible that without visualization is planned space just an abstract concept. Visualizations are key to desired result which thanks to interior design, carpeting and furniture, materializes into a form that can be modeled to result which you look for.

9. Suppliers´ selection

Key issue. There are many ways to choose suppliers. Rely on quality references, quality products and personal approach (and parameters that are important for you). Be more careful when choosing suppliers for construction works.

Our advice: If you just need fit out, you can once again turn to a company that provides complex services and they will also take care of busy and stressful building management.

 

10. Realization

Bear in the mind, it will take several months to get a project (2-3 months), construction work may last as long, and furniture delivery is usually 6 weeks. It all depends on how big project is and how is project managed.

If you are not satisfied, do not be afraid to complain. It is quite common that products or construction works are not perfect sometimes. Everything can be solved and the profesinalls are always try to find a way to satisfy you.
