All of us love surprises and Actiu had prepared such one - they had turned its showroom during Clerkenwell's design into unrecognizable.

The Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) finished and and it was again a design show. And exactly what would be in London like!
If you havent´t heard of Clerkenwell, it is part of London, which is just a few stops by tube from King's Cross. Clerkenwell is part of London, which has a long and rich history. There were located monastic orders, brothels, became famous as a fashion, industrial and Italian district, recreational area of richer society where used to come Oliver Cromwell.
There were three prisons and it was also the place connected with political radicalism – he operated Vladimir Lenin and was meeting Communist Party. Here was concentrating craft peak – wasn´t missing watches and clocks production and was born the oldest European printing company Witherbys.
After World War II, Clerkenwell again began to change into industrial area and gradually it became the most famous London borough with the densest concentration of architectural and designer facilities in the world.
With 250 exhibitors, including more than 90 showrooms, 10 installations, 7 exhibition visitors might seen everything from leather-craft workshops, a secret garden, stunning structures, wood-carving demonstrations, a fleet of eye-catching Twizy’s, a plethora of pop-ups, thought-provoking talks, more product launches than you can shake a stick at, and the hottest days of the year so far!
On CDW 2017, also exhibited Actiu, which has showroom anywhere else than in Clerkenwell. It´s showroom really took up style after last year and apart from furniture news, perfectly incorporated the expressive design of visual art. The space has gained unprecedented dynamics and turned into an inspirational space that was more like a gallery than just a showroom of modern office furniture.
