Abstracta is a Swedish acoustic panel and furniture specialist and in order to satisfy all customers has produced Jetty, acoustic table.

The table is simply just a table and besides design, mobility, special technology, it is probably all that can be considered on its design. Abstracta had a different vision and they think, unusually, about the acoustics of a table and that´s how came Jetty.
It sounds strange at first, but if we go through it, any desk with a solid board only reflects and amplify any sound while absorbing is minimal. Designer Sttafan Holm has designed a desk that delivers real acoustic comfort and sound absorption thanks used design and technology.
In new acoustic table, Jetty is used special Strata tabletop and its layers are consisting of natural materials, visible along its edges, is reminiscent of the Earth’s crust. These materials interact to absorb ambient sound while dampening noise emanating from the table itself through use.
Jetty appeals with a simplicity that feels more Japanese than typically Scandinavian, and which is found in other works by Holm.
Jetty is available in two lengths: 4800 mm and 2400 mm. An unusually large table, in other words.
