Engelbrechts new - Kevi 2070

Kevi is an abbreviation derived from the company name of Kettel & Villadsen for which it was originally designed. Villadsen was a manager who had a back problems, and at that time there were not so many pieces of furniture to solve these problems. Money was a bit tight, so every little part was tossed and turned and reused from one chair to another, which is not necessarily a process that is harmful to the finished product.

Kevi had taken over a line of Swedish office furniture with chrome bearings in folded sheet metal. New in the Kevi family - The time came for the 2060s and 2070s

Jørgen Rasmussen one of the chair designer says: „The chair for kids came with our own children. Quite a lot of people have been sitting on a Kevi chair for most of their lives.“

The requirement to incorporate high-quality and design seating into modern public spaces has opened Engelbrechts's doors to create news for the Kevi family.

These two chairs from Engelbrechts have a backrest holder made of wood or steel, that is not bent as its predecessors. The height of the backrest remained fixed, and feet – castors, were by four standard legs.

The Kevi 2060 and 2070 are a classic that is transformed to the notes of modern  style. Timeless aesthetics gives it opportunity to be a part of any space. The Kevi 2060 and 2070 are suitable wherever the customer does not have the money and the time to change the furnishing of interior every few years, and is not forced to stick to a dictate of trends.
