A total of five awards were taken by three corporations. Among the winners who received the Office of the Year award in 2017 is a project where Spaceplan supplied most of the furniture.

Sygic´s office
Office of the year is a competition organized by CBRE, a leading provider of real estate services in Slovakia, including consulting of selling and renting all types of real estate for businesses. There are in total 230 employees in Slovakia, who are the part of worldwide 75,000 member team headquartered in LA.
Since 2008 is CBREranked in Fortune 500 (2017 at 214th) and in the S & P 500 index, that means they belong to among the 500 most profitable US companies.
It is CBRE's professionalism and enormous experience in the contract area, which has prompted the creation of the Office of year competition. Office of year is the most prestigious competition in Slovakia, which gives space to architects and office furniture suppliers to publicly present their work in a forum that evaluates the jury and gives them the award for the best office.
Sygic´s office
This year there were 36 finalist companies in the Office of year, varying in size and type of design of their premises. That's why the Office of year judges projects in four different categories, where one of the categories is publicly voted.
Sygic sovereignly received three awards this year - Public Voice, Healthy Office and Smart Office.
Architects Richard Balazi and Boris Schultz from AM-architects who designed Sygic´s , who, thanks to their experience with large international projects, have created a quality and diverse environment according to the client's needs, which in the end outweigh the expectations.
Sygic's office
Sygic's design features three aspects - informal surroundings, fresh, humorous and young design, and a place to find everything you need for a good time (home, intimacy, socializing and sports).
The scope and investment in this project enabled the architect to create a space for Sygic that will keep and attract young talents of Slovakia to their firm.
Profesia´s office
The overall winner has became Profesia, a well-known HR player who helps people get a job. Profesia.sk is a member of the Alma media group, where we can find 17 associated portals with the same focus and purpose as Profesia.sk, which serve their visitors in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
Playful and fresh design, bright colours, a range of places and relax socialization, interesting places for meetings characterized this office and jury has rated this local brand deservedly as the best Office of year 2017.
EY´s office
The latest project from awarded trio is recently moved EY (Ernst & Young), which left Hodžovo Square after more than ten years to the newly-built Zuckemandel.
Design differs significantly from the Sygic´s and Profesia´s mainly because of the focus of their business. Architects chose design because of the brand´s position and name, which should be presented in EY´s premises, what earn price in "Brand´s DNA" category. Corporate colours, use of graphics and mood of corporate design manual and a more formal style permeate entire EY´s space.
Spaceplan in EY´s project won furniture supply, covering soft seating and accessories, which are the key elements that characterize the space.
