Tempe designs, manufactures and distributes footwear and accessories for all the Inditex Group chain in the world (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe). Its headquarters are in the Elche Business Park on the industrial estate. It has recently launched its new logistics platform, a distribution centre of 63.000 m2 of floor and a total construction area of 105.000 m2, bringing together the latest technology in the logistics area, with storage and automatic distribution systems that enable Tempe to adapt its logistical capacity to increase commercial activity for the Inditex Group chain.
In the main entrance, an interior vertical garden has been installed of 81 m2. This garden provides additional environmental control for the air conditioning system, as it acts as a regulator of the indoor temperature, as a natural filter in the environment, and also reduces noise pollution.
In Tempe, the offices are open, in a way that removes physical barriers and increases communication between different departments and professionals. Actiu, specialising in these formats of work and installations, offered a flexible proposal, tailored to the customers's needs.
The Vital Plus ST program of desks is designed to provide solutions to current work spaces, with an integrated wiring system which keeps cables in order and the possibility of several configurations. In this case it has been used with a light divider, made of translucent, safety glass, which offers frontal privacy but without diminishing the visual field. Pedestals have also been used with a drawer and a filing drawer and Modular Cabinets as essential filing items.
TNK is a program of ergonomic chairs which incorporate the latest generation system which detects the contact of the user to the back, adjusting the speed of the return of the back movement. For all the operative positions, the model was chosen with a back made from elastic fabric which enables perspiration of the back. Furthermore, in the larger rooms the Arkitek round tables have been used, combined with the UMA chairs, as alternative team working areas.
The new facilities have training rooms which have been equipped with a versatile Trama desk and the comfortable MIT chairs, with it's shell made of a single piece of foam from flexible polyurethane (PUR).
Without doubt, one of the most striking areas of the new logistics platform is designed to be the boardroom. The room, completely covered in wood and with original suspended spotlights, is dominated by a long, elegant Arkitek desk with a safety glass top in black. The TNK serie 20 chair, upholstered in black, auto-return, with capped feet and anti-slip soles complete this impressive room.
The spacious dining area and cafe is furnished with the functional Cool E100 table which enable multiple configurations and because of its robustness is used for communal use. The MIT chair in red, brings a touch of colour.
