What is the appearance of today's carpet?
Piero Lissoni, one of the best Italian designers see in the rugs inclination to handloom products. Many are inspired by certain local cultural patterns, unique to a particular region or tribe and family, and use a variety of scenes from their environment that identifies them.

Special attention gives to contrast between the „basic floor“ and rug, or squares.
Trend is „color“, which are not „colors“, so those colors with pastel tones as rosé, light blue and mint. Patterns in commercial use is still allowed, but today they are already creative, interestingly folded, not entirely typical geometric patterns. There is also alternating hair height, thus carpet is gaining plasticity and acts in a space as a dynamic element.
The trends are carpets in contrast or monochrome patterns that capture the attention thank to its expressive nature. They create wow effect and fascinate user of space during ordinary day.
We don´t have to avoid long rug hair today - they are durable and by the slope and processing of hair, give the possibility to create different patterns and impressions, what would be hard to attain with "classic" carpet.
An important element in the interior now, are also rugs that resemble paintings, landscapes, portraits, and even reproduce metals, or natural structures, as well as carpets, where are classic and art ornaments, and abstract weaving.
