Slovak clients are still conservative. To the extent that an architect who proposes a solution, which is usually quite good, has to fight hard for its realization. Why?
One thing is for a small budget. While the corporation with same name that sits in Prague, Vienna, Warsaw and Budapest gets much bigger budget then in Slovakia it is third. Nothing can be done with that locally. Or there are clients, who want the best for free.
The question is, if management in companies is aware of new trends in the field of environmental influence on employees and their performance. Those are part of a modern corporate culture and way of functioning of the company. When the client does not have enough money to acoustic solutions, high-quality carpeting, special tiles, good-quality chairs, or further adjustments using the potential of space, it is difficult to manage.
