After several years of removals we finally have a permanent office and showroom in the former printers located in the very center of Bratislava so we were celebrating!

As many companies which are dealing with design, we were also looking for an special place for our operations and showroom. In Bratislava, where there aren´t many places that would meet our requirements, we finally found a place that will be the next few years our headquarters.
The place of our head office we have found in the very "typical" office building which won´t evoke that has a long history. It is a building from the 30s, which has undergone renovations and now belongs to a complex of BACC, Bratislava city center, a complex of office buildings in the center of Bratislava.
Reconstruction of the premises took five months and finally we moved in early summer. During this time we have been acclimated and created the concept of functioning in an area that has already been scheduled, but it was essential to order furniture to fit to what we needed to achieve in the area.
Anyway, we had truly what to do before opening the showroom, because it was necessary to create a pleasant atmosphere and graphically process the documents and arrange the showroom to conditions that would create a final result "with everything-everywhere".
Among the invited guests were our partners, clients and architects and also ACTIU owner, Vincent Bergeby who came together with his wife and Business Development Manager Aleksandra Chmiel. Another dear host was Claudia Huge. She is working 25 years in the German Wilkhahne and after numerous positions in the company today works for the export & licensing.
The opening of the showroom began by the speech of CEO of Space Plan - Ladislav Vilner. In a humorous presentation he described the history of premises and thanked the audience, because the reason what is Space Plan today, it is thanks to them. Followed by Aleksandra Chmiel, who presented the philosophy of Actiu, activities and partnerships with Space Plane. A few words and deep gratitude also reflected Vincente Bergebagal whom inspires the concept of showroom and commitment with which our team works.
After all in professional presentation Claudia Huge unveiled Wilkhahn and particular concept with which Wilkhahn works and also their products and solutions. Success had presented chair IN, which works with technology Trimension and aims to ensure the dynamics of the session. After the presentation, we immediately received several pre-orders for the products presented.
In addition, the it was important opening of Spaceplan, Actiu brought the world premiere of the two products, which will be officially presentated on the ORGATEC in Cologne on more than 500 square metres. First product is working table Twist and the second product is work chair Effie. We will provide you more detailst after Orgatec.
After the official part of the program came into his unofficial part where games were prepared with extra wins from ACTIU products and Wilkhahn. Atmosphere was complemented by the tasting of Slovak wine, Spanish music, food and wine. The whole evening ended in the early morning hours in a cheerful mood and pleasant impressions.
