It’s not the first time Wilkhahn has triumphed at the Iconic Awards. Over the past few years, Wilkhahn´s products have repeatedly scored and this year wasn´t an exception.

Two of Wilkhahn’s products will receive accolades at the presentation of the Iconic Awards 2018: mAx is a winner in the Innovative Interior category of the competition and the stackable Aula chair has received the top Best of Best award.

As a result, two of Wilkhahn’s ranges in the categories dealing with flexible ways of working and communicating impressed the prestigious judging panel who met on 14 November 2017. The judges include international design experts like Established and Sons co-founder Sebastian Wrong, the Amsterdam-based designer duo Scholten & Baijings, the journalist Barbara Friedrich or Andrej Kupetz, the director of the German Design Council.

mAx stands apart due to its ingenious ease of use and excellent design. The moulded die-cast aluminium T-shaped base of the stackable folding table (design: Andreas Störiko) can be folded in or out in one easy step.
The all-plastic Aula multipurpose chair by Wolfgang C.R. Mezger is both very comfortable and practical at the same time. It stands apart for its unusually precise sculptural shape and can be stacked safely regardless of the type of upholstery.
